My assignment in TechComm Fundamentals Bootcamp was to make a Quick Start for a gadget I own.

 

I had thrown out my Megaboom's Quick Start guide long ago. I found the support website, which is disorganized and unhelpful to a new user. One problem is that it requires users to do a lot of searching and reading. I set out to create a Quick Start guide that used as few words as possible to get a user started listening to their music as quickly as possible.

 

My resulting Quick Start is good for low-literacy users, as well as any user who just wants to get started as easily as possible.
